Semi Detached Villa, Wardija

Wardija is a hamlet located in St. Paul’s Bay, around 110 meters above sea level, and several archeological remains have been found there and in its environs, proving that it was inhabited in prehistoric times and in the Roman period. For visitors who enjoy peace and quiet or just want to explore the area on their daily walks, Wardija is ideal as it is surrounded by beautiful fields and meadows, making it a perfect retreat to switch off and recharge.
Wardija is also very well known for a number of beautiful residences located there. These date back to the 19th and 20th century, when a number of knights and noble families built their residences here. Originally intended for use as hunting lodges or retreats, some of the residences are still owned by the descendants of the original builders, while others have been converted into private homes or are used for commercial purposes, events and for wedding receptions. Other notable sites are the Castello Dei Baroni, a 20th century residence that incorporated the structure originally erected in the 18th century, and Wardija Hilltop Village, which overlooks the Mediterranean with a spectacular panoramic view of the sea and the surrounding valleys.
