My Journey into Property and Why I Want to Help You Succeed

I'm truly grateful for the opportunity to share my story with you. Joining Sara Grech as a real estate agent has changed my life.

Let me take you back 30 years. At the time, I was running a successful family business when someone approached me with an opportunity in real estate. They said, “You’d be great at this.” But it wasn’t the right time to make such a leap, so I let it go. Still, the idea quietly stayed with me, waiting for the right moment.

Fast forward 26 years. The pandemic hit, and like many others, I had to shut down my business. It was one of the most difficult chapters of my life. I was searching for stability, a well-paying managerial role that could help me meet my commitments. But finding the right opportunity was tough.

Then one day, while browsing online, I came across a vacancy at Sara Grech, one of Malta’s most respected property agencies with over 30 years of experience. Something clicked. I felt the urge to apply.

A few days later, I was invited for an interview. The moment I stepped into the office, I felt something different. It was warm, welcoming, and already felt like home. Initially, I thought the position came with a fixed salary and commission, because honestly, a wage was what I needed at the time. But during the interview, everything changed.

I realised I wasn’t just applying for a job. I was stepping into a career with unlimited potential. On 17 April 2021, I took the leap and joined the Sara Grech team as a real estate agent. Through hard work, consistency, and the incredible support of my mentors and colleagues, I grew both personally and professionally. Today, I’m proud to say I’ve progressed to the role of Team Leader.

People often ask me, “How did you do it?”

Here’s the truth:

• I was hungry to learn, and I still am.

• Most importantly, I was ready to serve others, and I still am.
